The concept of dimensions: a point has no dimension as it is simply a location in space; a line has one dimension (length); a square adds another (width); a cube adds a third (depth). These are the spatial dimensions that we live and move through daily.
But Time is also a dimension as it orders events and allows change.
In Physics there are other dimensions that are harder for our brains to conceptualize, but they are there nonetheless. The trick is to stop trying to “see” these dimensions and instead understand them as degrees of freedom—directions in which things can move or vary, beyond our sensory limits but not beyond the reach of logic or equations.
Positive and negative interactions. The joy of curiosity and an investment in the need to embrace the abstract idea.
